AI Doc Summarizer Doc Summary

The AllosAI dashboard is the central place where you create, manage, and monitor everything AllosAI generates or uses.

Each section in the sidebar has a clear, distinct role.

Below is a corrected and simplified explanation, aligned with how the platform actually works.

Documents #

Documents are all assets generated or used inside AllosAI.

This includes:

  • Text content (drafts, posts, notes, generated text)
  • Images and visual assets
  • Other generated or uploaded files

Documents are your workspace content.

They are not automatically visible to users or chatbots unless you explicitly use them elsewhere.

Think of Documents as: Your internal content library inside AllosAI.

Smart Bots #

AI Bots #

This is where bot behavior and training happens.

Here you:

  • Create and manage AI bots
  • Configure how bots respond
  • Define instructions and behavior
  • Control bot training logic

If you want to teach a bot how to behave or respond, this is the section you use.

Bot Knowledge Base #

The Bot Knowledge Base is what users see in external AI chats as help or documentation.

It is:

  • The help content shown inside external chatbots
  • The source of answers for visitors
  • Structured support and FAQ-style information

This is not the same as Documents.

Think of the Knowledge Base as: Public-facing help content used by external chatbots.

Human Agent #

  • Enables handoff from AI to a human
  • Allows real people to reply to conversations when needed

Bot Contacts #

  • Stores contacts and leads captured by chatbots
  • Keeps conversation-related data organized

Social Media Suite #

This section controls publishing and automation, not chat.

It includes:

  • Social dashboard
  • Scheduled posts
  • Content calendar
  • AI RSS automation
  • Social media account settings

This is where you manage when and where content is published.

AI Content #

Optional AI tools that support creation, such as:

  • AI Chat
  • Writing and editing tools
  • Content assistance

These tools help you create content, but they are not the same as bots or social automation.

How everything fits together #

A simple way to understand the dashboard:

  • Documents → what AllosAI creates and stores
  • AI Bots → how bots think and behave
  • Bot Knowledge Base → what external users see as help
  • Social Media Suite → where content gets published

Each part has one clear job, so nothing overlaps or conflicts.

The dashboard is designed so you can:

  • Create content
  • Train bots
  • Show the right help to users
  • Publish to social media

All from one place, without mixing internal content and public-facing answers.
