Connecting your first tool (Chatbot or Social)

This step is where AllosAI starts working outside the dashboard — on your website or on social platforms.

You can connect either a chatbot or a social account first. Both take only a few minutes.

Option A: Connect your first chatbot (External AI Chat) #

Once your chatbot is created, you’ll see the Test & Embed section.

1. Create your chatbot #

Before anything can be embedded or connected, you must create an External AI Chatbot.

• Go to Smart Bots → AI Bots
• Create a new chatbot
• Assign a Brand Voice
• Configure basic behavior

Once the chatbot is created, you can move on to testing and connecting it.

2. Embed the chatbot on your website #

To add the chatbot to your site, copy the embed code and paste it into your website’s HTML (usually before the closing </body> tag).

You can adjust:

• Width (for example: 420px)
• Height (for example: 745px)
• Language (for multilingual sites)

Once added, the chatbot appears automatically and is ready to talk to visitors.

3. (Optional) Enable chatbot channels #

You can extend your chatbot beyond your website by enabling channels such as:

• Telegram
• Facebook Messenger

This allows people to interact with the same AI chatbot through messaging apps.

Option B: Connect your first social media platform #

If you want to start with social media instead, go to Social Media Settings → Platforms.

1. Add a social media account #

You’ll see supported platforms such as:

• Facebook
• Instagram
• X (Twitter)

Click Add New Account on the platform you want to connect and follow the authorization steps.

2. Account overview #

After connecting, you’ll see a summary:

• Total connected accounts
• Active accounts
• Inactive accounts

This helps you quickly see which profiles are ready for posting.

3. Start posting #

Once a platform is connected:

• You can create posts
• Schedule content
• Assign posts to campaigns
• Publish directly from AllosAI

Which one should you connect first? #

• Choose the chatbot first if you want:
  • Website engagement
  • Lead capture
  • Automated support
• Choose social media first if you want:
  • Content publishing
  • Brand visibility
  • Scheduled posts

You can connect the other tool at any time.

Once at least one tool is connected, AllosAI is no longer just a dashboard — it becomes an active communication systemworking for you.
